Spring Gobbler Hunts
South Central Ohio is literally crawling with the Eastern species of the wild turkey. Spring Gobbler
hunters are allowed to harvest two birds during the spring season in Ohio. During the 2008 fall deer
hunting season, it was hard to sit in a stand without seeing at least one flock of birds. One morning
there were five different flocks on one farm. This coming spring should be one of the best seasons
we have ever had.
Fully guided
We offer fully guided three day hunts that include three nights lodging and meals. The fully guided
hunts are a great way not only to harvest a turkey, but also a great way to learn the basics of spring
gobbler hunting. Our guides are willing to share their years of turkey hunting experience with you,
and if you are a novice, their experience can really shortcut the learning process for you. It’s also a
great way for the hunter who has a limited amount of time available to have the best chance of
harvesting a big tom.

Do it Yourself Hunts - -Five day Hunts
For the more experienced, spring gobbler hunter we offer five day, do it yourself hunts. These hunts
do not include lodging and meals. Local lodging is available at Long’s Retreat We will give you
several tracts of property to hunt on during your five days.
Five day DIY hunt is $750 per hunter
